Same here for beta 6(?). Is it at beta 8 now for public beta? I read the changelog and didn't see anything awesome. I miss those police pursuits (e.g., cops chasing racers) like in previous games.

Looks not bad in 3D! 2 times when going for a mp race I got stock on a Loading screen (with some excellent smooth music) and I had to ALT-F4.

Basically a thrown together game with no depth that has many many bugs.

All this game is good for is laughing at the developers for being so greedy that they put a half finished piece of crap on the marketplace.

Just downloaded it to give it a shot. Fun things I've learned!

1- The load time is pretty long for such a relatively small game.
2- It doesn't add a Windows firewall exception for itself.
3- It crashes when it can't connect to the server for #2.
4- It crashes when you try to change the resolution from 1024x768 to 1920x1200 (repeated three times).
5- It crashes when you try to change the resolution from 1024x768 to the slightly less challenging 1280x1024. Have given up and will drive with jaggies.
6- Guessing the servers are slammed right now, because it's taking ages to decide whether my nickname is in use. Can't do anything until it's done.

So, off to a brilliant start.

I did try it also and it felt like a copy and paste job from a few previous NFS games,then combined into this one. I thought it was pretty boring myself. The last NFS game (Shift) I really enjoyed however.

The most recent NFS I played was Underground, and I didn't think it handled THAT bad. Does the driving kind of feel like that?

just got done trying this out, honestly without trying to sugar coat it; it was boring and felt incomplete for a game that days away from release. I'm not really disappointed though, I didn't expect EA to actually drop something groundbreaking. lol

I thought they took Most Wanted as a starting point.

Anyway, the multiplayer system is bad because if you can't connect to a peer, you time out and can't race. The server is supposed to connect to peers not me. Meh.

Also, why can you drive when the loading screen is showing? It is weird.

Yeah, it wasn't bad, but nothing great either. Some of the areas seem like they're basically copy-paste from NFS Underground, though... they seem eerily familiar.
