For people who don't know how sports leagues work outside of America: the football leagues are tiered, like American baseball, but the lower league clubs are independent and can get promoted to a higher league if they do well. The bottom clubs also get relegated to a lower league. There's no draft, roster limits, or salary cap so you can buy as many young players as you can afford and develop them for a few years before selling for a nice profit.

Working your way up from the lowest (6th division) league in England with shrewd player deals while slowly expanding your pitiful facilities is very satisfying. It makes for a better RPG experience than anything Bioware has done in about 10 years.

Most boring sport?

Baseball
American Football

There is a reason why these sports have little international appeal.
The thickness of your ignorance, it's like a fucking shield that repulses insight.

If you believe baseball has "little international appeal" you are mistaken.

I played until they released patch 10.2 which I did not like at all. Fun game if you try to take a bottom feeder club to a premier league and having other clubs looking to poach you from your current club. This game will eat up your time like no other.

Not going to bother with these half-baked football games. How about a real football game where we actually, uh, play the game? Manager? lol, no thanks.

Odd, your list of links imho proves that baseball indeed has "little international appeal".
Best example is that the sport isn't olympic anymore, due the dominance of the USA and the insignificance of this sport for the large majority of the world.

The free weekend offer for the FM2010 is rather fruitless imho. You'll need more than some few days to get into this complex monster, so most testers probably will just surrender before the fun starts.
