New CrossOver Games

CodeWeavers now offers version 9.0 of CrossOver Games, their software that allows computers with the Mac and Linux operating systems to run games designed for Windows. As noted in this announcement, the game adds support for the Steam UI, the StarCraft 2 beta, and Star Trek Online; and also enables users to install games from a single screen and a single click.

Well they have to do something. They product has become 50% more irrelevant than it was last week now that Source has been ported to Mac and Linux.

Spoken like a Valve fanboy. Just because half of the games that you play use the Source engine doesn't mean that's true of most PC users. Until someone ports WOW, The Sims series, The Call of Duty series, and the Unreal Engine 3 to Linux, there will be a need for solutions like CrossOver for Linux.
