Yeah. Sorry Valve, you won't see the color of my money for that. Well considering its not a Valve product they wont be seeing anybodys money for these. Funny you all consider these to be high priced, these are not mass produced plastic toys, they are hand crafted statues and there are only 600 available period.
EDIT looks like these collectables will not be the only products offered seems you will eventually be able to buy a mass produced smaller scale version at much lower prices in the future. Then I'll be interested in the future.
BTW, I'm not sure how collectable these are in terms of value. Are they really likely to grow in value? |

Very cool. Too expensive. If I didn't have... well, a mortgage and other bills to keep up with, maybe I'd consider it, but... |

Like I said in the other thread, I was afraid they'd price it over $100, and I was right.

Statue? Over 200 bucks? For cell shaded heavy dude? I don't care which character it is, from what game. You can get your WOW character milled for less than this. Totally unreal.
...I'll bet they release add-ons. |

It's a taste of how inflation will feel in a few years. It's not overpriced, it's just getting us ready for the future. |

Is it a sign that the economy has recovered that they expect people to pay that much for these things? |

For a second I thought the "mouth open" comment was referring to the expression I'd make over how horribly expensive these are. |

Jesus fucking christ. How about instead of spending $200+ on a TF2 action figure you buy some poor shmuck a gfx card and TF2 instead?
I would buy one of these, I admit.
For $15, from Toys R Us. |

The mouth open statue is $244.99 and the mouth closed variant is $229.99. Actually, no. The Mouth Open statue is $229.99. The $244.99 "Exclusive" version comes with an extra head with an alternate expression (mouth closed) and comes with an add on that changes his signature mini-gun Sasha into Natascha (an ammo feed belt, it appears). |

For some reason, the price for the superior blue statues is the same as their red counterparts Why if your name was not Blue, you would be in so much trouble right now!!! |
