Star Wars: The Old Republic Updates

An update to the Star Wars: The Old Republic Website announces plans for a novel called Deceived that ties in with the upcoming Star Wars MMORPG. The book is being written by Paul S. Kemp "with the BioWare and LucasArts teams’ full cooperation and creative consultation," and it "tells the story of Darth Malgus and gives fascinating insight into his rise to fame and glory as the Sith Lord who destroyed the Jedi Temple." They also offer a new "holorecord" on Inhabitants, and announce that the Biographies section of the holonet now offers articles on General Garza, Mandalore, and Darth Malgus.

Is this real enough for you?

I just got it via e-mail. I don't troll their forums or sites. But I'm interested on seeing the game in action... maybe even beta testing if I get lucky. Most likely will play this one at some point in the next year or two since it's not slated until next year. According to some guy on their forum...

Edit: I found even more bad-ass in-game combat videos. Check out the combat tactics of the Sarlacc Enforcer.
