It is free, however. So those with any interest whatsoever, even those with hesitation like myself, can see first hand. Nothing wrong with that.

I own both games for the PC.
IMO - BFBC2 is a much better game than MW2. It isn't even close.
No 40 mph schizo knifers..No cheaters(if you play on a punkbuster server)..hardly any lag (Ty DICE for Dedicated Servers) plus free mpa pack
It's not a perfect game by any means (M60's & Gustav's)but it sure looks like it when you compare it to MW2. If IW would have stayed with pretty much the same formula as COD4. Then it may have been a different story.
I just hope that total asshat Robert Bowling get what he deserves for what he led the team to do what IW did to the PC version.

Those of us with the UI beta STILL can't seem to access it.
It takes 30 secs to switch it off. It is a beta afterall.
And more importantly, it's only Modern Warfare 2, you're not missing much...

Definately. It's very frustrating.
Also, not being able to say that you want to play on a specific map sucks. But I'm still getting into it, still lvl 31.
The game would be "good" if there were dedicated servers for it.
Like it is now, it's just mediocre and I still enjoy CoD4 MW more than MW2.

A friend of mine said, due to lack of dedicated servers, he spends more time trying to find a decent MP game than actually playing the game itself. Is this true for others?

If you are lucky enough to have Steam download the game properly, the game will play perfectly well...with a crack...including single-player.

you know, i tried this game on the 360 a while back and for the life of me just couldnt get into it.
i was playing the single player campaign and guys just kept coming after me. everytime i'd waste a guy on the rooftop by blindly firing into the sky after panicing, three more would replace his ass. i'm thinking "what the fuck is going on? jesus christ! did a piggy bank of terrorists fall over?" then there's a point where i think i've reached the end of the level, but im really back at the start, because i get turned around easily.

This is multiplayer only, no single player and no coop (spec ops) missions.
I'm a smoldering volcano of virility. At least, that's what I tell myself.
