BioWare Bazaar Follow-up

A post to the BioWare Social Network follows up on yesterday's announcement of the BioWare Bazaar, and disappointment that this promotion is for the US only. They say this "was originally intended to be an international event," but this was changed by "some last-minute legal complications," for which they "sincerely apologize." They promise to make up for this in the future, saying: "in the coming weeks, we will be announcing details about future events specifically for fans living in those territories which were excluded from participating in the first BioWare Bazaar."

That anyone would actively want to be a personal shill for a game company in hopes of getting some crappy Tshirt or mouse in the first place is pretty appauling to begin with. Real idiotic idea by Bioware to begin with.

Yeah I noticed. That's what happens when you've been up for 20hrs and had to drive 7hrs at the end of it.

Yeah, unless it's really momentous, like fucking huge, don't ever do the countdown thing.

As a Canadian getting shafted by a Canadian company, I'm pretty fucking pissed. It's like when Coors bought Molson. I have to remind myself that they're no longer a Canadian company, and now, neither is Bioware. They may as well pack up and move south, it's not like anyone wants to live in Edmonton anyway. EA and Bioware, you can kiss my black ass!

Really I think the issue was blizz calling this a "community" event, followed by saying that the community is only thus, and only they can enter it. Which ticked a lot of people off(oh and the use of twitter--which is making people taste the bird shit).

However in future days, there will be a neighborhood BBQ. But you can't participate because of your address. But people on both sides, and across the street can. Enjoy!

Myself I couldn't care.

I'm mainly miffed at their frivolous use of countdowns so this doesn't help me in the least.

Announce KOTOR3 or I will keep nerdraging on forums everywhere and put a banner in my sig like the doodz on the bioware social forums! You have been warned, Bioware! Bomb

This is interesting. I knew that their forums exploded in disappointment after yesterday's announcement but I didn't expect the scale to be large enough to send the founder of Bioware into damage control mode.
