I liked ME2, but the combat seemed.. meh. It was like, "Run forward, stop and kill group, run forward, stop and kill group". Eventually everywhere you saw a bunch of boxes or walls lined up, you knew a fight was coming. Just seemed predictable. Overall I enjoyed the game though.
Maybe the combat will get repetitive by the end, but so far it seems like a pretty big improvement over the original.

I thought the same thing about AvP, it feels like a $20 game to me based on what I've read.

I like the aggressive pricing for Mass Effect 2. Multiple stores have had it on sale for $29.99 already, including gogamer which is where I bought my copy last week.
