What's wrong with game prices exactly? I never understand this complaint. Unless you're some troll living in a basement who needs to play every single game on the market then I don't see how $50-60 is unreasonable. Game prices have fallen over the years, not risen.
Starting to become very obvious, right? As soon as he started linking to Steam's EULA, it became pretty clear.

Assley, is that you?

Even a cdkey is a form of DRM. DRM doesn't just mean "software that fucks up your computer". It's a pretty encompassing term that represents many forms of protection for software and intellectual property. So yes, account structured authentication counts as well in my opinion.

Steam has an off-line mode genius.

The number of one-line posts on these forums would drop precipitously.

Says a guy who uses Steam. Steam also does every one of these things, and yet you loved HL2 and Valve's other games which use Steam from your posts on this forum. What you really mean, hypocrite, is that you will only bend over and take it from Valve and not EA.
EA is just taking a page from Valve's playbook as most of its fanboys don't realize or admit that Steam uses DRM either.

The game itself is a real snoozer anyways, people aren't missing much. The beta was so boring that my friend and I uninstalled it within an hour so we could go back to Dawn of War II which isn't setting the bar very highOMFG!!! Thar's DRM in my WoW, Eve, and even my Everquest!!! Get a clue people...
