Ships Ahoy - Dawn of War II - Chaos Rising

THQ and Relic Entertainment announce the launch of the Chaos Rising standalone expansion for Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II, Relic's sci-fi real-time strategy sequel, which is now also available as part of a new Dawn of War II – Gold Edition that includes the base game. In concert with the announcement, Steam News announces the Steam edition of the expansion is likewise now available in North America and Korea. Here's word: "Chaos Rising delivers an immersive single player experience, a level cap increase from 20 to 30, more powerful war-gear and introduces the traitorous Chaos Space Marines as a new playable army. Developed by THQ’s internal studio Relic® Entertainment, Chaos Rising offers a suite of multiplayer options via Microsoft’s free Games for Windows – LIVE® service, and is now available at retail and online outlets nationwide for a suggested retail price of $29.99. The Dawn of War II – Gold Edition, which contains both the original Dawn of War II and its expansion Chaos Rising, is also available for a suggested retail price of $39.99."

There ARE reasons that people who otherwise wouldn't (and in fact never used to) end up resorting to pirating games. There's a certain give and take in the Game Publisher/Developer - Consumer relationship that has been missing for a LONG time now. Devs and pubs aren't completely blameless, nor are they doing much to help their own cause in the long run.

theres no good reason to pirate a game. stop acting like you cant live without them, its an entertainment product. pirates arent taking from the rich and giving to the poor. they are stealing videogames. this isnt some essential human resource needed to survive, these people arent getting together on the web to figure out the best way to scam food from their dictator and his puppet government.

and thats fine. but you want to talk about it? they have like 20 different forums to do that on. you dont need to do it on legit gaming sites. do it and shut up about it if youre going do it. stop pissing in the industrys face about it, hasnt really helped pc gaming so far has it?
