To sum up therad.

SR2 is awesome (agreed, but on 360 only)
GTA4 could have been as awesome.

Fable 2 is awesome (on 360 - as Fable is kind of a console game)
Fable 3 will be awesome as well.

As a "gamer" I had to buy all systems, and glad I did, as I now pick and choose which platform the game will best play on, and GTA, SR, and Fable type games, all play best on a console.

Although GTA SA with Cops and Robbers mod on PC is the shizzle!!!!!

Nearly every 'exclusive' from Microsoft/360 eventually transposes to PC.
Having said that, it's odd that they would ship Fable 3 to PC and not Fable 2... although again now that they're bringing 3, 2 might not be far off.

At the end of the day though, this is still a rumour generated from a job posting.

I find it very hard to believe that Microsoft would release Fable 3 on both 360 and PC. After all, they have a pretty established history of trying to make everything into a 360 exclusive. Why would they change now?

Yep. And since Crash Bandicoot showed up on other platforms, Heavy Rain and Killzone 2 are coming to Xbox 360, Wii and PC as well.

Personally owning the 360 version of BFBC2, part of the reason I got that version was to AVOID the aimbots and wallhacks already available on PC (and completely undetectable by Punkbuster or server admins I might add).

Fuck cross platform play for anything competitive.

SR2 was what GTA4 would have been if R* hadn't gotten all serious, and it was hilarious fun.

As for Fable 3, if it comes out on PC I'll get it on PC; if not, I'll still get it. Fable 2 was a good game in my book and I imagine 3 will be as good as it, at least. (well, I hope, anyways)

I don't think BC2 on the PC supports G4WL.

So, I think if Fable 3 comes to PC, we'll probably see it support Natal on the PC, as well.

I bet Fable 3 on the consoles does support a gamepad - namely, the 360 gamepad probably, since that is the 360's main gamepad - I cannot see why the PC version would not support that, as well.

I thought that one of the best selling points of G4WL was for designers to bring X-Play for PC and Console versions of games - I thought after Shadowrun and Lost Planet: Colonies Edition, we'd see more of that. It'd be great for Fable 3 to be on X-360 and PC - and have both be able to play together.

Though, I'd really still love to see Fable 2 come to the PC, as well. I'd buy it most definitely. I really enjoyed Fable: TLC PC - buying it the day it was released here - and would love to see more of Microsoft-published games on the PC.

While we're at it - Fable 2 and Gears 2 I would also welcome on the PC. I think Microsoft should look closely at Steam's business model, fix up G4WL, and follow suit. I think the Batman: AA PC sale from G4WL last week was great.

Fable 3 is going to be a Natal title on 360, I wonder how they're planning on incorporating that into PC.

I'd buy a trilogy package. I just need to forget it's from the studio founded by Peter Hype-To-The-Moon-And-Deliver-The-Mediocre Molyneux.

Whatever man, late or not a port of Fable 2 is totally welcome on the PC. That game had some great aspects that the 360 simply didn't do justice.

I enjoyed Fable 1. But fuck you, Lionhead. No Fable 2 for PC makes Fable 3 a bit pointless. If they were to port F2 to PC, it'd still be pointless since it's a year late. Maybe the job post is for another game.
