Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Ships, Day One Patch Released

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is now available in North American stores, announces Electronic Arts, quoting Game Informer saying the military shooter sequel "rightfully challenges Modern Warfare for the multiplayer crown." Word is: "Battlefield: Bad Company 2 has received worldwide acclaim for its intense first-person modern warfare, spectacular destructible environments and seamless multiplayer experience supported by dedicated servers." Also, the Electronic Arts UK Community Forum has word that they've already released a day one patch (thanks LittleMe), saying: "It's slightly less than 300MB in size. Assorted fixes, some perf improvements, fov controllable via Settings.ini (fov=55 default I think) and um some other things. More info later, it would be nice with some sleep now."

Getting out of your mom's basement tends to help with socializing MrBone, I did it 12 years ago but it's never too late for you too fella Guitarist

No pre-loading on Steam. How idiotic can you get?

The game unlocks in 30 minutes so most of us are past the preload rage now but yeah it was pretty stupid and obviously intended by EA who had preloads on every other service including their own store.
