Exactly. You HAVE to be connected to the internet for singleplayer.

Apparently it does something ridiculous like pause your game or auto-save and boot you out if you lose internet connection while playing.

Ubi is completely shooting themselves in the foot with this crap.

Yep, any Ubi game I was remotely curious about - and there weren't that many - is off the market permanently. Way to go jackasses! I guess their DRM will prevent piracy by making sure no one plays their games at all.

"Van Gogh painted alone and in despair and in madness and sold one picture in his entire life. Millions struggled alone, unrecognized, and struggled as heroically as any famous hero. Was it worthless? I knew it wasn't."

Exactly, boycott Ubi! This is a niche game, every sale that is lost, hurts Ubisoft directly.

Damn i hate this DRM nonsense.. why can't CEO's get a clue?

Gonna wait to see if this uses that failsauce DRM before I blacklist it. Don't really buy into the whole "boycott every product a company makes!" since it never does any good. There are never enough people willing to boycott games, so all you end up doing is punishing yourself.

Best to judge each title on its own merits, methinks.
Do you have a single fact to back that up?

I don't mind the need to be connected to the internet when playing since I'm always connected. I DON'T like the max install number, I wipe my computer annually just because I try so much stuff that my registry looks like a Chinese census report. Or the "besides the game you need to install 5 other programs" no thank you. I don't want your Blank Online Support tools program, constantly running the in the background.

I was looking forward to this game. But I will absolutely not support a publisher who inflicts this heinous DRM on the lawful user.

Halo, problem is if you lose internet for short time while playing there is chance you lose your progress and in such game as this if you on patrol long time etc that would be quite bad
