WWI Source Mod Beta [Feb 16, 2010, 10:42 am ET] – Share – Viewing Comments
Mod DB has the first beta release for the WWI Source modification that uses the Half-Life 2 engine to recreate the battlefields of World War I. They say: "Use authentic weaponry to conquer the enemy, call in artillery strikes to take out enemies en masse, or use chemical warfare to disable your opponents!" Thanks Ant via Half-Life Fallout.

I seem to remember one of these existed for Half-Life back when it was on WON. Was pretty fun, though the name escapes me. It never got too far in development, but it was playable and had at least a few servers running.
It was called "The Trenches" I believe.
