Stop Asking for BFBC2 Prone

A tweet by Battlefield Bad Company 2 lead designer David Goldfarb that's retweeted by the BFBC2 feed says that even if you stand on your head, they are not adding the ability to go prone in the military shooter sequel: "Fyi we will not add prone based on anything. You can stop asking now. :)"

Whether you believe prone has many uses or few, doesn't anyone find it alarming that they are completely ignoring its customer base, namely you?

No, businesses do this every day and many times it's to the customers benefit. They listened to the feedback, they just didn't agree with it. I'm much more willing to give a company a chance when they have actual discourse with the community instead of entirely ignoring it.

I love all these console kids that are years late to the open Battlefield games weigh in with their "expert" opinions. Stick to your gamepads and 16 player servers. Jesus where to even begin.

Most of the people in this thread are PC gamers who have been around probably as long as you, I have no idea who or what you're ranting at. BC1 was a console only title and has nothing to do with the main Battlefield series except name. BC2 has double the player count on the PC versus the 360 and yes, it has vehicles. You can rant about Battlefield 3 and how things were so much better back when you had to game uphill 10 miles in the snow when Battlefield 3 info is released.
