Yegor Bondar's LinkedIn Profile has an interesting revelation in the résumé of this Ubisoft level designer, which seems to reveal an MMOFPS in the works at Crytek. The entry reads: "Game \ Level designer Crytek Kiev (Privately Held; Computer Games industry) November 2008 — July 2009 (9 months) Not announced Online MMO FPS." Thanks superannuation.
It's awesome for the first 3 days until the hacks and easily exploited holes in the netcode allow full invisibility and invulnerability to run around while Crytek never fixes the bugs or and fails to program systems to permanently ban those players. Then the client authentication system is exploited and anyone can play the MMO for free, with hax.
You mean those weren't fixed in the expansion pack which shipped 10 months after the release of the game and 4 months after they dropped support for the core product?
