The Old Republic in Spring 2011?

EA conducted an investor conference call to follow up on the revised fiscal guidance announced earlier. GameSpot reports on the call, which included word from EA CEO John Riccitiello that the company is planning to launch "our major new MMO" in "Spring 2011." He didn't specify what game he was referencing, but there isn't really anything on EA's schedule that fits that description besides Star Wars: The Old Republic, which is under development at BioWare. Ricctiello also listed fiscal year 2011 highlights that include: "A great new Medal of Honor…Sims on consoles…and an innovative new take on Madden."

Old Republic in 2011 or FY2011? There's a big difference...

"Spring 2011". When they say Spring, they are referring to calendar years. Fiscal years are Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4.

A fiscal year in some companies can actually be the year ahead of the current calendar year, so FY2011 is actually 2010. I was just confused because Blue wrote "Ricctiello also listed fiscal year 2011 highlights..."
