Second Borderlands DLC Announced [Dec 10, 2009, 1:26 pm ET] – Share – Viewing Comments
2K Games announces Mad Moxxi's Underdome Riot, a second round of downloadable content for Borderlands that will be released on December 29 for Xbox 360, January 7 for PlayStation 3, and at an undisclosed later date for Windows. Here are a couple of screenshots and a logo for the DLC, and here's part of the description:
Mad Moxxi’s Underdome Riot is an intense single-player or cooperative experience that expands the mayhem by adding three new Riot Mode arenas where players will endure an onslaught of Pandora’s baddest enemies. Working together, players will fend off the masses as they fight for fame, honor, and more importantly, loot. Mad Moxxi’s Underdome Riot also adds a new bank feature, which allows players extra storage capacity for when they encounter one of the more than 16 million weapons that Borderlands has to offer; and the ability to acquire two additional skill points as quest rewards, making their characters even more powerful than before.

Countdown to someone saying "U SHOULD FEEL LUCKY TO GET IT AT ALL!!!! WHINY PC GAMER", starts....now.
Pretty sure that was all about people claiming a platform discrepency existed when none does. Or perhaps because people demanded this be free when they could just not buy it.
Personally this one sounds lame, I never liked arenas, and I will not be buying it.

Been thinking of picking this up for the PS3, the game not the DLC, is it worth it?Yeah. I had a blast with it, especially if you can find some people to play co-op with you.

This particular DLC sounds pretty lame for SP. Probably a good time if you have buddies though.

A bank is worthless unless it's shared between characters. Having 45 backpack slots is more than enough space for storage.

Looks nice, but a) drop the price, and b) drop the DRM. Until then... bye.

Storage absolutely should have been in the game at launch and it's very shady of them to sell it (along with two free skill points) in a package along with what otherwise looks extremely lackluster. Especially when the PC version seems to be slated for "whenever we feel like it" and will doubtlessly include SecureROM whether you bought your game on Steam or not. I guess Gearbox is taking cues from Infinity Ward and trying to punish PC gamers for buying it on the "wrong" platform.

No, they threw in a bank feature that should have been included with the game so people would actually buy it.

So this DLC is just a room with a bunch of enemies spawning in it?
And judging from the screenshot, they aren't even new enemies. It's apparently just a fight with the games bosses simultaneously.
