Torchlight Editor Gold, Almost [Nov 10, 2009, 2:48 pm ET] – Share – Viewing Comments
The Runic Games Forums announce that the Torchlight editor is gold (in the virtual sense, since no gold master disc is involved), though a subsequent post backtracks, saying: "I just found a bug. We need to fix this one. So we are back to making a new build and then testing again." The release still sounds pretty imminent, and that post has an 11 item top 10 list of things that can be accomplished with the editor. Thanks Shul.

Somewhat OT, but Direct2Drive STILL hasn't released the patch for Torchlight 
If this is normal for them, I don't think I'll be purchasing any more games from them.

Direct2Drive also hasn't released the patch for Fort Zombie, so go figure... :\

The torchcam mod is way cool it allows you to rotate while playing and it has a super cool FPS mode. (imagine Diablo with First person perspective) and you get the idea, you can get it at the dev website under mod showcase. really makes the game more ambient and amazing. now with this mod this is becoming my GOTY. get the Torchcam here http://forums.runicgames.com/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=3966

From what I heard, it is normal, D2D sucks with patches. If someone plan to buy this game, buy it directly from Runic or on Steam.

I absolutely love Direct2Drive but a word of advice about them. Don't use them to buy any new games. I only recommend them for deals and bargains (e.g. D2D 5th Anniversary sale for example, or the occasional $25 DOW2 deal).
