Star Wars The Force Unleashed Patches

Aspyr Support now offers two patches to update Star Wars The Force Unleashed Ultimate Sith Edition to version 1.1, one patch for the North American English and French edition, and the other for the European English, French, Italian, German, and Spanish editions of the Star Wars action game. Both patches are mirrored on AtomicGamer, Gamer's Hell, The Patches Scrolls, and Worthplaying.

Anybody buy the PC version of this? Is it any good? Or at least not bad?

I played the console version.

It was an alright rental, but not worth buying. And this is coming from a guy that is
a) a major fan of the StarWars universe
b) buys way too many games as it is

For light saber action, the last couple of Jedi Knight games have it beat hands down.

For feeling "mighty in the force" once again I have to default to the Jedi Knight games.

There were a few cool moments but most of them involved the level from the Demo.

The only other part I liked was the recreation of a setting/room from the new trilogy made of scrap metal. It reminded me of an artistic homage.

The original trilogy tie-in was a mixed bag. I could see what they were going for but they were stretching it a bit much.

Personally I can't recommend buying the PC version unless you're a major SW fan eager for some new content. I recommend renting it on the console if you have a compatible one.
