MAC GAMES?!? hahahaha

Maybe he will be programming Macintosh Game Sprockets

Is Carmack trying to turn himself into a joke? I thought Doom3 was bad enough.

apple has always used carmack. even back in the day when quake 3 demo was released one week ahead of the windows version. and everytime i see him on apple's stage doing a presentation i think of how much they paid him to do that. but in all honesty, i think carmack is a good advocate of cross platform development. he is one of the few who has enough influence to do just that.

hey howcome blue has not featured a story about armadillo? they got second place on the x-prize competition which ended last week.

Remember when Carmack appeared a year or so back, side by side with Jobs on the stage, and talked at length about "revolutionary" 3d graphics on the mac -- something about terrain generation in real-time. That tech seemed to go absolutely nowhere. Sound like Carmack didnt get what he wanted from Apple and/or Apple was using him as a shill and dumped soon afterward.
