lol i guess the fact that tsmc and ati dropped the ball and the fact that there is no 58xx cards anywhere that you can buy is all irrelevant info to the situation right? yea

Some say TSMC is to blame for the fact one cannot buy hd 58xx cards anywhere. However, I blame ATI for it. HD 5870 maybe the king of gpu right now but its also vaporhardware. One cannot buy these cards anywhere and most likely not until next year. Good job dropping the ball ATI.

Yeah but I'm not upset with ATI about it, seeing as TSMC is largely to blame. They seem to have been having yield problems for a couple/few years now..? I'm happy to wait for them to iron out the issues. Probably need to stop having sex parties in the fab clean-room areas.

Good lord the 58xx didn't start as a paper launch, but it is now officially a paper product. I can't remember a product disappearing like the entire, much vaunted, 58xx line. And the 57xx driver situation is a huge mess.
