What is this bullshit? Valve is releasing the 360 version first?!?!!?
Apparently there was an issue with the dedicated servers, hence the delay. I knew this would happen, typical Valve, can't get their shit together in a timely fashion.

It was the $34 price point for me (4-pack preorder price). I couldn't give a shit about when the demo is released or what knick-knacks come with it.

Dedicated server issues angry boy. Or would you rather they drop the DS like Infinity Ward did with MW2 and just stick with Matchmaking? I'm sure we could have had L4D2 demo at the same time as the 360 players if there was no dedicated server.

I think it's more about a former PC developer like Valve now seeming more interested in the console release. I mean, the demo should have been wrapped up in advance to prevent issues like this occurring. When PC users are frequently treated like dirt it's no surprise to see people lash out when they see stuff like this.
Still, it's not a big issue for me. I'm waiting for the public demo.

Seeing people's demo pre-loads reset and the additional delays make me wonder if the game itself is ready for prime time. I can't imagine why it wouldn't be, because it's basically the same assets/engine/gameplay/UI as L4D.

I think the Borderlands release took the wind out of their sails a bit, I'm a bit surprised at the lack of L4D2 traffic on the forums I frequent. The demo delay is probably a good thing.
