This Steam Community Thread on the topic of the Left 4 Dead 2 early demo access indicates the demo has been delayed and it looks like it's now due at 2:00 am EDT tomorrow. There are over 7000 comments in that thread, each one seemingly more irate than the last. Thanks Voodoo Extreme.

Hey Bimdimbo, I feel for you, but since you live in the UK, I would have thought you would be used to lateness in schedualed time tables what with your public transport and all.

(I have a friend in the same situtation as you (he has 2 kids thought), and now when it's due to unlock - he'll be at cricket!)
