Telltale Games announces Tales of Monkey Island: The Trial and Execution of
Guybrush Threepwood will launch on Friday, offering the forth installment in
this serialized adventure. Here are
some new screenshots from the new chapter, and here's a synopsis:
The fourth chapter finds Guybrush double-crossed by the pirate hunter Morgan LeFlay and returned to Flotsam Island against his will. Facing an angry mob of poxed pirates with a long list of grievances, Guybrush must defend himself in court against a smooth-talking prosecutor and absolve himself of the false accusations in order to continue his quest to rid the Caribbean of the insidious pox of LeChuck!

All episodes released so far have been great fun. Will play this once I manage to get through the ever growing mountain of games sitting on my shelf. I love October/November.

Yeah, I don't pay for shit in advance. I think that's kind of crazy. Once their five episodes are done, I will gladly fork over my 40 bucks.

You could think of it as a weird preorder perk, where you get the game a fifth at a time starting five months before non-preorderers get it.
I think it is, all five parts together, easily going to be worth the price, based on the first 3/5ths. I'm not so sure about if you were to buy only a single episode at the $10 price amazon is asking, though.
