I don't consider the time I spent in WoW "wasted." It is simply how I have filled my spare time. Before there was WoW, I filled my spare time with other generally pointless activities. If/when I stop playing WoW, I'll find something else to fill my spare time. The only way WoW is wasting your time, is if you weren't playing WoW you would be volunteering at your local outreach program, doing legitimate work to cure a disease, or whatever. Entertainment is just that, entertainment. Nothing less, nothing more.

it's interesting to note that the spellchecker for Blue's thinks "cancelled" is spelled wrong. In fact it is QUITE sure it's spelled "canceled"
Both spellings are correct.
What they should do, or what would be nice for the customers, is to allow the customers to select which features they want changed and charge them based on what they selected.
Want to keep your original name but roll from a Tauren to Troll? Simply charge the user $15 as opposed to $25 since the name change feature costs $10.
It would be nice but Blizzard is in it for the money; money they know they'll get regardless.

Side note: It's not a blues specific feature, so likely your browser. Are you on a mac? There's a global spellcheck built into the OS.

Yea...WoW is the greatest game in the world. You spend one hour waiting for your raid party to get there ass in gear, spend three hours wiping 20 times on the last boss, finally beat him, get the epic drop you have been waiting for, only to roll 01 to see if you get it. All of this great fun for only $180 a year for one account.

Seems like the last year or more the game has been in different hands. Lots of things that were sacrilege before are now commonplace.Change of designers. Tigole (Jeff Kaplan) was the original lead designer, he's now working on Blizzard's secret unnamed MMO, and WoW was given to Ghostcrawler (Greg Street), who I might add is a massive fucktard. The man has a degree in marine biology from a liberal arts college.

Because for the past year or a little longer it has been ACTIVISION Blizzard, and not Blizzard. All they care about is money and keeping people addicted to that garbage ass game. Thats why they keep making it easier and easier for noobsauce players to get end game gear.
But then they turn around and fuck their PC customers in the ass with the shit they're doing to COD MW2.

I will ignore the whole hardcore/casual argument for a moment, but this makes sense given the ability to change other factors (faction, server, accounts, etc.)
Additionally, the next expansion, though shaking up the existing world, offers nothing new with regards to classes. The only outright different player/character feature is a new race. But if you like your class, you have to...kiss the new race goodbye? Create a second, redundant character of that same class?
Lastly, this lets Blizzard charge even more fees which it both loves doing and which people will pay...
