no one even mentions the equally cool CoD Zombie Mode
Actually it has been mentioned many many times in the past when compared to L4D. I have even stated that I really like it, and in some ways more than L4D. But the matchmaking implementation is horrible, far worse than the way L4D does it, which in itself gets a lot of complaints from people.
No dedicated server, you can rarely find any other players to play with just by creating or searching for a game, let alone find a game with good pings, etc.
You guys just aren't see Valve is now raping people the EA way.
You just dont get that some people really like the gameplay. Versus is not unbalanced. The only people that I ever see saying that are people that didn't play it for any length of time and don't get that the Infected Bosses aren't supposed to live forever. You supposed to chip away at the Survivors, but every now and then with a well coordinated attack you can take them all down quickly...but requires actual teamwork.
I've put in more than 200 hrs into L4D, most of that in Versus. So I and so many others are quite happy for a quick sequel to get more of the same gameplay that we like.
Overpriced crap but no, gotta suck the dick of Valve and not see the price gouging.
Overpriced? Depends on perspective. Obviously if you don't like the game...then yes it's overpriced, but it wont matter what the price point is if you dont like the game to begin with. Seeing as I pre-ordered it for $33.75, not the $50 price, I think I got a good deal. I was going to hold off on Borderlands as I wasnt going to pay $50 for a game I dont know if I'll like. But the new 4 pack offer again makes it $33.75, which I'm considering. This comment was edited on Oct 12, 2009, 15:36.
