Jumpgate Evolution Video Interview

NetDevil’s Scott Brown Takes Us on a Tour of Jumpgate Evolution on Ten Ton Hammer is a video interview with NetDevil’s Scott Brown at PAX where he talks about Jumpgate Evolution, the upcoming MMO space combat revival. Topics include AI improvements, PvP, and how recycling centers can help you make use of items. The clip also includes some narrated gameplay footage, but this is blurry ShakyCam that's blocked at various points by arms and the microphone.

I really like the look of this game. It reminds me of all the best parts from Privateer, EVE Online, and Earth and Beyond. Definitely can't wait to try this game.

Life is a storm, my young friend. You will bask in the sunlight one moment, be shattered on the rocks the next. What makes you a man is what you do when that storm comes. You must look into that storm and shout, "Do your worst, for I will do mine!"

They started the marketing on this wayyyyyyy too early. At most you have 1 year between when you start an MMO's marketing campaign and when you have the open beta/demo. I'm still looking forward to it, but all the buzz is dead.
