Disney to
buy Marvel for $4 billion has word that the Walt Disney Company is set to
purchase Marvel Entertainment for approximately $4 billion USD in cash and
stock. This values Marvel at $50 per share, 29% over Marvel's closing stock price
on Friday. Word is: "The deal has been approved by the boards of both companies. "
