New Mass Effect DLC? [Aug 20, 2009, 10:05 pm ET] – Share – Viewing Comments
Xbox360Achievements.org has news of new achievements added to Mass Effect,
a pretty strong indication new DLC is in the works for BioWare's sci-fi RPG, as
first rumored over a year ago. The three achievements they list
indicate the setting is a space station named Pinnacle Station, which correlates
with a
previous post of theirs on DLC plans outlined by project director Casey
Hudson on the Mass Effect Platinum Hits Edition DVD describing possible locales
as a "casino, gaming, fight club, space station." Thanks

the RPG-lite and wonky combat elements in ME were a more than a little disappointing, for me at least. I actually have zero interest in ME2 and I typically like these sorts of games....
Gamerscore tracks the achievement points earned by completing tasks in games. No, they aren't worth anything though, they are just there to prey on people with low self-esteem. Some of the worst cases even rent games the know are crap just to get easy points.
Man, thats... pitiful. And I thought achievements were pointless. Where the hell else in life do you brag about the amount of entertainment you consume? You don't run around saying "yeah, I've read 5,403 books!" or "W00t! That was my 650th movie!"

Not bad. Mass Effect is a reasonably good game and this should keep up a bit of interest for ME2.
Although, what the fuck is gamerscore and what is it used for? I keep seeing it flash up on my 360 and have no idea what to do with it. Can I buy shit with it like MS points?

Well I'm looking forward to it, no matter what it is. Great game, good port, and I enjoyed BDTS for what it was, a nice little freebie.
Nice, another 30 mins of gameplay that makes me keep that game on my HD for ages and then just causes disappointment and makes me lose the connection to my char.
