I was watching the 1080p video. On the scenes where they show the Na'vi I paused and used the arrow keys to slowly view each frame. It's amazing how realistic they look. The 1080p version, while amazing, likely doesn't compare with the IMAX 3D experience.

The JINT cat men do kinda look like night elves, even have the cartoony look. Still though looks great, it'll be amazing in 3D. The story/acting will make or break it.
I thought it would be a character study about MMO players on and off line.

Looks cool, but thought at first it was referring to "The Last Airbender" movie that M. Night is directing; which I think the cartoon is called "Avatar: The Last Airbender." When I saw all the spaceships and mechs I was confused there for a minute.
