On BioShock 2 Release Dates [Aug 20, 2009, 3:35 pm ET] – Share – Viewing Comments
'Early 2010' is a 'realistic' release for BioShock 2 on Joystiq reflects on
the release date for BioShock 2, 2K Games' upcoming underwater shooter
sequel. They hash out when the game is to be expected based a conversation with
a 2K representative, and after a confusing update over which version of PAX they
will be attending, they report being told "'early 2010' is a much more realistic
release date than 'second quarter 2010,'" as they had previously drawn the
inference that the game was due in Q2 2010. Either way, neither release window
is out of line with the game's release plans, as when the game was
delayed Take 2 said it was due in their fiscal year 2010, which ends in
November, 2010.

B1 was an above average corridor shooter. The actual gameplay wasn't incredibly fun for me. Graphics were nice and the watery scenes but... The story worked. B2 seems like more of the same stuff.

for some reason I just can't myself excited about this sequel even though I loved the original. Maybe because much of the original team isn't working on it?......I dunno.....
