I don't understand ever increasing costs of paypal and ebay. The infrastructure is in place, it is damn near free money for them, and hardware costs are lower then they have ever been. What a bunch of greedy pricks.
Supply and demand. There simply isn't competition for them in any major way. Amazon used items are close, and I do shop there way more often than ebay, but they raise rates because they have next to no competition. Are the sellers going to leave? The buyers might choose to buy elsewhere, but the sellers don't have anywhere to go.
Personally my order of shopping is Craigslist, Amazon, then ebay. I find myself buying a lot more stuff on Amazon now, I feel like ebay has turned into an infomercial on late night tv. No matter what I search for i feel bombarded with crap which I have to sift through to find what I'm really looking for.
