Warfare 2 screenshots were released at GamesCom, offering a pair of
ginormous looks at the upcoming military shooter sequel in the works at Infinity
Ward. Also,
Computer and Video Games has word from Infinity Ward that unlike the first
Modern Warfare, Modern Warfare 2 will not have an open multiplayer beta.

Why would you blow crap graphics up to such a high resolution that just makes it look worse?
That is disappointing to hear, no open MP beta, but the CoD4 engine has been a solid performer online for me so besides giving people a sneak peak I can't see how doing a MP beta would improve anything.
These definitely can't be from a highend GPU. I'm guessing the shitBox.
Jesus, your not kidding that the textures are horrible.
I love the really washed out low resolution textures and low poly models they're using... it really does it for me.
