Out of the Blue

A mix up at the electrician's means my gable fan is still broken, but theoretically they will fix this today. I imagine this means this heat-wave is about to break; and I was just starting to get a good tan... no, I haven't been going in the sun, I think I'm getting a tan through the roof.

Saw it last night. Incredible!
The only odd thing about it was it was pretty obvious that the script was rushed, probably because of the production switch from Halo to District 9.

Remember that the alien technology was integrated with their biology (i.e. the alien guns), so a virus (biological, not computer) could have disabled the ship. And that also explains the effects of the black liquid. The ending was great. It left it open for a sequel, while not requiring one.
