You're pwned if someone has physical access, the os doesn't matter.

It's a brilliant hardware hack though, especially the cache poisoning of popular websites that may or may not be on the machine. (thats from the wired article; I didnt read the ars one)

I'd just rather they announced SoaSE II.

Yeah Brad Wardell is spamming trolling my email, subject is "A message for Sins of a Solar Empire players", when opening the first sentence is, "I know some of you clicking on this email are hoping that Im here to tell you about Sins of a Solar Empire II. I hope to be able to talk more about Sins of a Solar Empire more in the near future, but today I wanted to make sure you know that were releasing a new RTS that I think you might like: Ashes of the Singularity: Escalation."

Classy...

If the Special Edition runs better than my modded install of basically mesh and texture replacements, than I am all for it. This the one game that suffered the most when I made the change to Win 10...having it running well again without having to sacrifice my eye candy would be great. All the other types of mods will be adapted eventually. The mod community is nothing if not determined and resourceful. Given enough time they have proven that they will add whatever the hell they want to a TES game eventually. (speaking from the PC perspective of course..console modding is not there yet obviously)

Yeah I'm sure it will since the 4gb ram limit will be gone since this is 64-bit.

60 minutes last Sunday had a segment on AI and this issue came up during one of the interviews. At some point the courts will need to decide how AI in self driving cars decides who is more important to protect, the driver or other cars/people involved. Lawyers will still sue either way I'm sure though

I stopped playing Overwatch when the Symmetra patch came out. It was part being burned out and part not liking the game's play with the changes.

It's a great idea, but it looks like GoG Connect doesn't cover DLC. I bought into the Founder's Edition for Galactic Civilization III. At Steam I have the game and all DLC. At GoG I have the base game.

Same with my Steam copy of AI War.

This batch added seven games for me - X Gold, Shadow Warrior, OlliOlli, The Masterplan, Ziggurat, AI War, and Teslagrad.

AI War has always been DRM free anyway; you never needed Steam to launch it or it's DLC's. You just had to register the serial numbers of the DLC in the main game w/ or w/o Steam.

Nope, I wasn't into this stuff at all until last month when I decided to do an electronics project to start learning. I built it and then wanted a new thing to work on and did the Gameboy backlight mod...

Btw, your co-worker will be using retropie if he hasn't found it already. It's the best emulator for raspberry pi's and is what is used in the pigrrl2 I linked.
