So what does that say about the people who say Hillary can't be trusted, yet defend Trump even though he lies at least 50 times as much as her?

I'm the first to say that Hillary has definitely lied on quite a few occasions, but she's got nothing on the sheer volume of lies that Trump pumps out on a daily basis.

I have friends on facebook, I watched many pro-Bernie videos compiling some straight-up lies that Hillary said. The leaving the airport under gunfire was particularly hilarious, as it was just an outright fabrication. Still, pales in comparison to both the volume, and the insidiousness of Trump's lies. "Pathological" can't even describe how deep it goes. I'm truly dumbstruck that people believe anything that man says. Which could go both ways, perhaps all the intolerance and hatred is an extension of the lies. I have to say, if this is all a ruse, and he ends up fracturing the GOP so badly that they're a mess for decades... If the plan was to destroy the party of hate from within... It would be the greatest political stunt in history, and Trump would be my hero. He was a NYC Democrat for most of this life, part of me wants to believe this far-fetched tale, I would have so much respect for him if this were the case.

Also I want to say your posts have been enlightening, you back up your arguments with references, and don't back down to utter bullshit.

Thanks. I think the idea of Trump as a sort of Trojan Horse in the Republican party would be amazing, but it would also mean he's just been pretending to be a complete idiot all of his life. Nobody is that good an actor

Thats exactly the problem. If you cant recognize obvious hypocrisy anymore, then nobody can explain it to you, because youre most likely ignoring it on purpose, because youre biased. And Im surely not going to get into this brainless flamewar by trying to. People need to realize it themselves, even friends telling it them will make most people tick out and rather end the friendship, than admit it.

Well, I don't know if this was his point or not, but there is a neurological condition where people who are bad at something literally don't have the skillset to UNDERSTAND that they're bad at it.

Extrapolated, this could explain that people who don't understand that they're full of shit are literally lacking the brain functions to even understand that they're full of shit.

I think you're describing the Dunning-Kruger effect. Trump has the mentality of young-ish teenager. I think he believes his own bullshit and actually lives in this reality distortion field that he's created for himself.

Like always, they dont seem to care. Its like theres a huge competition going on whos the biggest hypocrite. The term hypocrite seems to be a compliment to them.

Who is "they"? People are rarely aware of when they are being hypocritical by their own interpretation, never mind yours. I have no idea who you mean.

The hilarious/sad thing is that's just the last seven days, and only the blatant/major lies. The man is a blackhole of insecurity requiring a steady stream of bluster and bullshit to fill it. Most of us figure out that character matters far more than juvenile dominance displays by about the time we graduate from high school. Why would we give drone strike authority to someone who emotionally and socially never left the high school locker room?

Here's another lie from Trump. Either he lied during the primary debate, or he was lying in his deposition.

Please point me to the times when Trump supporters gathered outside Hillary rallies and shouted obscenities, threw eggs at Hillary supporters, threw rocks at cars with Hillary bumper stickers on them, blocked emergency vehicles and freeways, and forced Hillary rallies to be canceled. Because I must have forgot about those.

Here's one.

Here's another.

Love this guy's reasoning for supporting Trump.

And Trump himself supports violence against non-violent protesters.

While anti-Trump protestors have certainly been violent on occasion, let's not pretend it's just them. Let's also note that while Clinton has never supported such violence, Trump has.

Aww poor little liberal got his signs ripped up. It's just like Nazi Germany!

You have no idea what you're talking about. You think most of the 11 million-ish illegal immigrants just walked across the border? Wow. You have even the foggiest idea what a wall like he's talking about would cost to build, maintain, and man? It's insane.

Wow just wow, did I trigger you? Then how about you educate this ignorant stupid bigot redneck Trump supporter and tell me, how do they get across the border? Because I'm sure they're all just chomping at the bit to tell people exactly how they did it.

Do you have a lock on your door? Well, if you do, I hate to tell you, but locks don't work! People can pick them, bust them out, or go in through a window. Better get rid of your lock, buddy!

First of all, comparing it to Great Wall of China is a terrible comparison. I guess the valid part of the comparison is that it won't really stop people from coming through, so there's that.

A big portion of the illegal immigrants, over 40%, come on visas and overstay after it has expired. Others come in via northern border or increasingly, since the Bush fence went up, by boat.

Trump's wall is ridiculous and stupidly expensive. And that's if we go with his lowest numbers. He's put the height at anywhere from 25 to 55 feet. He's gone back and forth from a real wall, to a metaphorical wall, to a cyber wall, and back to a real wall.

Even a conservative estimate puts the figure at between 15 and 20 billion just for materials. Labor, equipment, planning, design, land acquisition aren't even included in that. They haven't even offered a guess about what it would cost annually to man and maintain such a ridiculous defense.

The guy hasn't put a lick of thought into the problem. He doesn't know anything about immigration, legal or otherwise, except that it's cheaper, which is why he has a history of hiring illegals himself. He doesn't even bother to learn about the issues he talks about. He gets a few talking points from his campaign and just makes the rest up.

There's a reason that a lot of Republicans want immigration reform. We actually do need the labor force. The solution isn't to build a wall, it's to make it easier for people to come here to work legally. Making them wait months or years for a work permit is a stupid, broken system. Like any broken system, people will look for ways to avoid dealing with it. A wall isn't going to change that. It's just a huge waste of money.

Obama has been deporting far more illegals than even Bush did, but it isn't going to change the realities that there are people who are going to come here one way or another. It also doesn't change the reality that we need a lot of them to come here and work. Even if, and this is total fantasy, the wall was 100% effective, we would have a lot of farms and other business that were completely screwed and don't have the labor force they need. That would be a bit hit to the economy in terms of exports, supply, cost of food and other goods and services, etc.

I will GLADLY debate an idea or a policy I will NOT debate on whether someone that says racist things is racist. You are asking me to ignore reality and I will not do that.

Haha yeah those Romans and Chinese were so stupid to build walls. The Roman Empire would still be around if they had just been nicer to barbarians!

Do you have a lock on your door?

You have even the foggiest idea what a wall like he's talking about would cost to build, maintain, and man? It's insane. Even Trump figured out how bad his wall idea was. I'll just let him explain:

"I'm a great builder. What do I best in life, I build. Your infrastructure is crumbling. Isn't it nice to have a builder? A real builder. So you take precast plank. It comes 30 feet long, 40 feet long, 50 feet long. You see the highways where they can span 50, 60 feet, even longer than that, right? And do you a beautiful nice precast plank with beautiful everything. Just perfect. I want it to be so beautiful because maybe someday they'll call it The Trump Wall. Maybe. So I have to make sure it's beautiful, right? I'll be very proud of that wall. If they call at this The Trump Wall, it has to be beautiful. And you put that plank up and you dig your footings. And you put that plank up -- there's no ladder going over that. If they ever go up there, they're in trouble, because here's no way to get down. Maybe a rope."

You guys support this moron?

I don't intend to argue this. There is nothing to argue.

Finally, a few more level headed people with a filter. Thank you. Glad to see the pendulum swinging a bit more toward center here. It is just the internet and just Blue'sNews but still such a shame how some people here show their hate and throw crazy accusations about as if they are off their meds. Before early this morning I thought more of you were intelligent, well spoken, and understanding members here but this thread has shown several of you in a new different light.

Refusing to support someone who is actively funding the kind of hatred and divisive politics that Trump is, is a perfectly rational thing to do. He's free to say what he wants and contribute to whomever he wants. And others are free to decide that they don't want to support what he says and does by giving him money, since he's just giving it to a group like that.

Where's the problem?

I support Trump 110% and I also support the right of whoever chooses to support Clinton or Johnson or even Sanders 110%! We live in a free country--I have never seen so much hate and vitriol spewed during an election--it's disgusting. 95% of the people who hate Trump are responding not to anything Trump has said or done but to things people have willingly made up about the guy--he's never made a so-called racist-hate speech--not once! That's a pure lie.

From my view, it is 100% the anti-Trump people spewing the hate and the venom. Just like at Trump rallies it isn't Trump supporters friggin' destroying property and hurting people--it's the anti-Trump people--and in many cases people *paid* to incite riots! Soros should be under the jail--but unfortunately we live under a presently lawless administration--thank God that's about to change!

Any developer who would ostracize customers simply because he doesn't like their choice of presidential candidate is a fool. I don't intend to argue this. There is nothing to argue.
