I loved the A-Team, Dukes of Hazzard and Knight Rider when I was a youngster.

Of course I also liked "Letterman" (faster than a rolling O) on the show Electric Company. Now someone need to make a "Letterman" game!

I had a similar problem with Dungeon Seige. I fixed it by disabling antialiasing (was at 2x).

I ran the 28.32 driver version on my Geforce 2 GTS PRO without any problem. They were as stable as the next driver.

I'm using an AMD T-Bird 1.2 and WinXp.

The Infogrames movie trailer requires the Divx [http://www.divx.com/] codec. Download the 5.0.1 codec from there.

Unfortunately the new codec is now bunfdled with a divx player also. Anyone know where I can find just the codec for Windows?

Registration Server Performance

Yeah, I'm looking at those forums now. I know that the file d3dim700.dll is a DirectX file, so I was considering downloading and reinstalling DX8.1.

I think I'll browse a while and see what I see.

I downloaded the demo from download.com (bgates@microsoft.com) and tried to runn it unsuccessfully.

I get a black screen with two dots in the bottom left corner and a mouse cursor (res seems to be in 640x480). I also get what I would assume is the intro sound.

In my XP Event Viewer I found the error along the lines of:
Application Failure dungeonsiegedemo.exe, 0.2.4.901, d3dim700.dll, 5.1.2600.0, 00009f3b.

Now I'm off to the official site to see if there is a work-around

I have one of those blocks on my line thru Qwest. It requires that the telemarketer dial 1 to get through to my phone. This gets rid of almost all sales calls.

The problem is, if someone stays on the line for X amount of time, it'll ring through to my phone anyway (for those rotary people I imagine). So I still receive calls from the telemarketers that use an automated system. I end up picking up the call but only receive the last part of their recorded message.

I still like the service though, but am a bit upset that Qwest is playing both sides of the equation. They sell demographic information to telemarketers and then turn around and sell me a service to get rid of 'em.

I loved Gothic and hope that the sequel continues along the same path.

Every time I play Gothic, I am reminded of the old Playstation game called King's Field. The music and environments in Gothic make me nostalgic.

Gamespy 3D was actually the very first product I ever purchased online. I thought it was the coolest thing out there. It was my favorite tool to find Quake 2 servers. Ahh, to live in the past...
