I always liked that arcade game Xevious. I really like the Flash version as well but for the life of me I can't figure out how to SHOOT!

I can only dodge incoming fire for so long before getting a bit bored.

I just forwarded that link to the rest of the IT Department in my company. Gator is always one of the first things we look for when troubleshooting advertising pop-up issues with our users.

The original comic was called Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

http://www.ninjaturtles.com/comics/mirage/volume01/01/01.htm

Perhaps the "Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles" is a UK name change.

My brother got a tattoo of Michelangelo many, many years ago. He was an avid fan of the old comics. About a year after the tattoo, the TMNT cartoon came out.

He had little kids from all over pointing to his tattoo and saying, "cooooooool, you got a tattoo of a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle!". He was extremely pissed.

Quboid,

I know nothing about this game, but I've had past problem similar to what you describe. I solved it by turning off Antialiasing.

Might be a simple solution to the problem, but worth a shot.

RichRz, when France opposed the American War on Iraq, the US Congress decided to show their displeasure by renaming "french fries" as they are known here in America to "freedom fries"..."french toast" to "freedom toast".

Dr. Del, the only strange issues I had with the first Gothic was the control scheme and inventory screens. It seems the game was created with a keyboard only in mind, and mouse countrol was added later.

You'll get used to it, but it's confuzeling at first (at least for me). Don't give up though, the game is fantastic! This is the game that got me interested in Morrowind; the vastness of the territory just drew me in. I actually enjoyed Gothic more than Morrowind, and I consider Morrowind one of the better games I've ever played.

I live in the US and just ordered Gothic II from http://www.gogamer.com/ (thanks to this post on the RPGDot forums -> http://www.rpgdot.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=28027 ) It should be here next week!

bothersome...

I have looked around a bit also for sites to discuss Matrix Reloaded, and the best I can come up with is the message boards at Warner Brothers. Many Spoilers found here:

These Catalyst 3.4 drivers improved my 3DMark03 score from 4533 to 4866 (over the Cat 3.2 drivers).

I have not seen any artifacting yet, though I've only had them installed for about an hour.

After playing the Xbox demo, I picked this game up immediately for my Xbox. I missed the Tomb Raiderish type of game, not having played one since my Playstation One.

I heartily recommend this title. It has a fantastic fighting engine, allowing you to throw a right, a left or a nice combo. You can also grab an enemy and throw them into a wall or off a ledge. I spent a ton of time on the demo, just playing around with different combos.

Use your whip to yank a weapon from your enemy's hand, or wrap it around their neck...pull them towards you. It's definitely fun.

I pulled 1603 3DMarks with a similar rig, Z.

P4 2.4GHz
GeForce4 Ti 4600 (Det 4109)
512 MB Ram
WinXP

I was unable to run benchmark "GT4 - Mother Nature" and "Pixel Shader 2.0".

I got about 10 fps on both the Battle of Proxycon and Troll's Lair benchmarks.

I saw about 11,000 3DMarks with 2001SE.

It looks like Windows XP SP1a is the same as Windows XP SP1 except that the Microsoft virtual machine (VM) is removed in SP1a.

Oh, what have you done Blue? Now, every time I hit Blues News, I get 15 pop-up ads, the page appears in a narrow vertical bar on the left, and my CD-ROM keeps ejecting, in...out...in...out...

Actually the formatting looks fine on this end.

In regards to the MOD, I laughed my ass off at that one. Quite the slip-up.

Oooh, how about a Rockford Files game. It could be a 1st/3rd person shooter/sneaker. We'd get really bad pants to wear and a beat up Camaro to drive around.

I used to be late to school every morning to watch the rest of Rockford Files. Damn fine show!

RE: #6

I loved the A-Team, Dukes of Hazzard and Knight Rider when I was a youngster.

Of course I also liked "Letterman" (faster than a rolling O) on the show Electric Company. Now someone need to make a "Letterman" game!
