You should use annualcreditreport.com

Today was actually my yearly anniversary for Experian. Four month timer is set for the next check.

I was all excited about this, went and dug out the manual, got the key... type type type.... This Game Has Already Been Activated.

Weird, I went to my games list, and there it sat, 100% ready.

So either this isn't really "new" (it's been long enough I can't remember when I last played UT3), or something automagical went on in under 2 seconds to migrate my retail installed copy into Steam.

Either way - no complaints.

The movie was good.

There was a return to a bit of the large explosion silliness which prevents it from reaching the heights of the Bourne films, which have in my mind replaced Bond as the top super spy franchise.

Anyone still using RT for their movie reviews is a window licker. The place is simply a haven for people that enjoy bashing movies, and their scores have missed the mark by miles on the last 20+ films I've seen.

Note that I'm not claiming Max Payne is a great (or even good) movie, since I haven't seen it yet, but I'm sure it will be closer to exactly what I'm expecting than the 17% RT currently has it listed at.

It means either one of two things either the developers are lying or the developers are intentionally not optimizing the PC version.

A little bit of both.

A little bit of both? That's an understatement. I think there's no doubt whatsoever they're not optimizing the PC version at all:

http://youtube.com/watch?v=eBGIQ7ZuuiU

That pretty much sums up Bethesda's opinion on the development of this game, and the future of PC game development in general. No wonder gaming on the PC is dying...

That's bad, but what really has me worried is they talk about using zones instead of the streamlined world like Oblivion in this interview...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PFyO7k0JG4M

So while I'm a die-hard Fallout fan, I am concerned for the series.

Well done Nuclear, that is a good find. It puts Fallout 3 in a whole new light.

It's provided as an alternative to masturbating to pr0n while listening to your music.

Though I can say the elite modes are quit difficult.

After dealing with more flash than I normally care to, followed by a corrupted download, my take on this game is that it's a pass.

Ok, they forgot to cover the option which I'd like to elect, which is to have my original copy unlocked and classified as AO - leaving me with the full AO copy of the game.

Where can I get that?

I did really contact Rockstar support about this way back when this first broke - but they wouldn't compile a patch for me that did this

It's really fun now that most of the folks have picked up strategies on how to team-play. A few maps have size issues (too big/too small), there's an ammo to zombie balance issue on a few maps, other wise great fun. And of course as a 1.0 beta there are a few bugs - mostly spawn/first round on map issues.

I liked Diablo. I liked Diablo II less (never made it past the pygmies - annoyance beat down fun). Hellgate London looks promising - more interesting genre than Diablo, 3rd person shooter/RPG-ish, and not owned by Blizzard, but by ex-Blizz folks that got out when the company went to hell.

Will it be the ultimate game? Probably not. But I'm sure it will be fun enough to kill a bunch of hours coop-ing with friends on, Founders club or not.

I watched the whole season of JfC, partially because of the lack of alternatives, and partially because I was waiting to see where it went. It never went anywhere worth going, and removed the dedication to Milch efforts that I had after Deadwood - nothing of his will ever be a sure thing again.

Rome could and should have continued because it was solid (for me it's very close to Deadwood), and they had all the way through The Fall if they could muster up the stamina.

If you're having problems heating your house Blue all I can say is you don't have a powerful enough gaming computer. Get that 1KW power supply, dual 7800GTX's, dual Opterons, and 4GB RAM gaming system you've been meaning to!

The problem I have with the later games is specifically the springs that let you launch the enemy away... while quite fun in their own way, they strongly altered the dynamic of the game. It heavily negated the need and value for the stone powerup.

Ok, maybe not a problem, but again, it definitely changed the dynamic of the multiplayer game.

Bring back the caddy fat cat woooo....

TDR 2000 was pretty sorry as far as that franchise goes, if they'd bring back the original (+ expansions), and just update the graphics I'd buy it again in a heartbeat.

Ok, I would also hope they'd clean up the net code (was still IPX back then no? and kind of finicky), but other than that.

I even keep an old P2-300 w/Voodoo 5000 around just for playing great classics like this.

I'm not really sold on my eclipse. First off it's got that nasty "squishy" feel to it, which I can put up with, but don't particularly like. I'd much prefer the nice solid clickiness of the old IBM keyboards especially for gaming, but even a MS Natural has a better feel to it.
Second, the light up keys are rather crappy, and in most situations it's harder to see the keys when lighted than when off. Anyone that has used/seen the higher end powerbooks knows what a light up keyboard should look like. If the Saitek did whatever was necessary to redirect the light along the proper angle to get to the users eyes it would be much improved. Currently the first thing I do after booting up is turn the lighting off, which is of course two keypresses I'd rather not have to make every time I boot my PC.

Bottom line, IMO, you're better off going to an outlet store and picking up ye olde regular keyboard that you like, the Saitek isn't worth it's premium.

Ok, anyone who is up in arms about this needs to wake up.

Except for a few select lucky SOB CEO's everyone makes "a few pennies on the dollar" of what their employer makes. I work for a multi-million dollar a year company... no one here makes over $75k. Pennies on the dollar all around.

Second... sweatshop... please, in college I would have KILLED to be able to play games as much as I wanted and GET PAID. Now some will whine "but macros are running everything, all you do is montor a few dozen accounts and run them to town to sell every now and then". Maybe it's not WoW (or your MMO of choice), but it still certainly is a game, albeit a more economics oriented one.

So save all the ignorant anti-capitalist commentary for the liberal hippy moron forums.
