As long as I can remember in online games, circa 97-98 in my case, getting up in a cheater's grill is the best way to get them to leave a game. The hardest part is however is getting on the same team as the cheater.

Loved Prometheus? Can you go into a little more detail about which parts?

The geologist with mapping drones that get's lost inside of 10 minutes or maybe the zoologist trying to tickle the alien goo snake in the cobra strike pose?

I guess we're living in the Michael Bay era. Flash enough lights fast enough in front of people and you've got a box office hit on your hands!

I remember last month there was all sorts of consternation about Firefox taking an aggressive stance on Flash, I wonder what the reaction will be from Chrome users. Personally I have no use for Flash anymore and just wish a quick death but I recognize many people need it to play browser games or for marketing purposes.

In Firefox you just set Flash to "Ask to activate" in the Add-ons menu. Chrome is just making this the default setting. So you can still use it, it just doesn't load with each page as before.

Does anyone know how the .gov and contractors deal with PC operating systems? I can't imagine Windows 10 would ever be allowed on a Raytheon computer per say, but it would seem that MS would not want to lose those clients either.

Here is the problem.

By then no one will care about the game. I am already writing it off.

Just like the GTAV delay? yup, no one will care. :p

Oh my, one look at this trailer and i'm already certain this game will be a great game and great success. It's like Civilization meets X-Rebirth (if that one hadn't failed).

This is FTL with better graphics though.. not even remotely Rebirth meets CIV

Hopefully not a Roque-like though.. but other than that, looks great.

Any producer, with experience shipping code, would have their skin crawl after listening to Chris Roberts for a few minutes. This guy made it a year! That's damn impressive Alex.

Sales suspended, refunds... I can't remember the last time a launch was this bad. I'm kinda surprised it's coming in the form of Arkham Knight
There have been plenty, but rather than step up and do the right thing, they followed the "DENY anything is wrong" script. You've heard it before - "a few players are having issues", " problems with configurations outside the recommended specs" etc.

Steam offers refunds now.. that was the critical piece missing from past release disasters.

Regarding the use of the word afrikaans word Apartheid's use in video games. It's chasing controversy but I have no personal issue with it. I mean, the word is synonymous with segregation. It's practically a synonym at this point. Not in good taste perhaps but..

It's always been a general term as I understood it as well (including the dictonary entry as Desalus points out). There's a small country in the Middle-East that bends over backwards to control the usage of that word as well, and it certainly wouldn't be beyond them to produce some faux-outrage over it's usage.

Yeah, BF3 was the last one for me. Fond memories of BF2142 and BC2 however, there will always be those.

There is no story at this point.. just a free ship and some methods to make money. I think that is probably the extent of the full game as well, just in a much larger universe and with more features. A lot of little things are not in the game at this point (communication, fuel usage, etc.).

I wonder why they choose Mexican versions for importation. Canada is a lot closer (to the NE) and all the soft drinks and candy bars are made with sugar.

Canadian pop uses HFCS as well, it's just labelled different. Glucose-Fructose is HFCS in Canada. For it to be sugar it is Sucrose in ingredient labels.

That's interesting.. I'll have to check some of the packaging. I moved up here from NY and found the soda to taste much better for some reason. I've only had 1-2 cans, but had just assumed it was made with sugar. It doesn't have the chemical aftertaste like US soda does.

I'd be more excited if IL2: Cliffs of Dover wasn't such a butcher job. I doubt this will be good enough to detract my attention from War Thunder. How many different games can recreate the same historical air battles? Snore

Cliffs of Dover is an entirely new game experience with the Team Fusion 4.312 patches. It's worth checking out if you were a fan of the original IL2 games.
