*blort* Okay, bad post by me, I did a terrible job of accurately getting my thoughts across.

The reason I mentioned LTSC/LTSB was because that's the kind of thing I was thinking/talking about. Security updates without feature updates. As I thought, no third party software was going to accomplish that. So, I was right about that.

As far as "good things" I read about O&O's software, that was in reference to shutting down some of the "spying". But apparently whatever it was I read didn't give the complete story. So, I was wrong about that.

I am on an older LTSB branch, using O&O for the last year with no problems. Obviously I'm not using the Window's app store, or services. If you're heavily tied into Microsofts ecosystem of services, like RedEye9 may be, then it isn't for you.

5G providers reportedly working on mobile platforms that resemble old men shitting on sidewalks. Research showed that having one on every corner would be indistinguishable from San Franciscos current aesthetic.

I'm looking into getting a fitness tracker/watch replacement. The Fitbit Versa and Garmin Vivoactive seem fit the bill for what I'm looking for. However, I'm seeing a trend of comments relating to bricking during updates, and a series of connectivity issues with the fitbit. The Garmin, particularly the color I'm wanting, is north of my upper spending limit ($200). I'm curious as to whether anyone has any experience or insights into these devices. I primarily jog and bike, and don't need anything particularly robust for smart watch features, but would prefer something that looks more like a traditional watch.

I settled on Polar A370, mostly because the app is excellent. I have a coworkers with higher end Polar but it's a bit too bulky for me. My wife has a fitbit that she likes, the app is much more casual.

You are the most biased person here.

The Demoncrats who launched this investigation knew it was crap right from the off.
It was always a "Hail-Mary".

You are the most willfully blind person here.

Over 30 indictments and still rolling.. pretty good for a hail mary. Drain that swamp!

I want to say Gronk was one of the greatest, but I completely lost all respect for him after that dirty post-play hit on Tre'Davious White in 2017. White suffered a concussion and if you look at it from a rear-left camera angle it is clear that Gronk could have easily killed him.

He went from professional to unprofessional in a matter of seconds. If it were up to me I'd write him out of the NFL history books regardless of his accomplishments. But no...since it's the Patriots, he gets a free pass...

This is what sticks in my head also. Hard to have any good feelings for the guy.

Who's in charge of overseeing and ensuring this doesn't get out of control, and how do you define control, and where's the transparency with the public to agree or disagree? Is the transparency something you'd find in that 50-page ToS document people are forced to agree with once they've gone through the troubles of purchasing, installing, and logging into the game?

Blizzard is already doing this with their MMR system in Overwatch. The data they can collect on player behavior, reaction time, etc. is beyond your imagination, and should be illegal.

Heres the tastiest bit.. Who owns the other large VR company? Oh yeah.

Man that's rough, my wife and my hearts go out to you guys. It's never easy losing a loved one; especially such a close and unconditionally loving one. The home will be empty for a while.

Take stock in knowing that the decline was quick and that the years treated him well. Any of us could wish for a similar demise when the time comes.

Also, Luke Perry dead?? That seems way too soon. I always thought he'd be a bigger star than he was. I was thinking him being in Tarantino's upcoming film might have done for him what Pulp Fiction did for Travolta.

He was 52.. definitely too soon. Be careful everyone, a stroke like that effects way too many people. And oddly enough is more fatal in younger folk than older (brain mass shrinks in older age giving the swelling somewhere to go). Watch your diet, get some exercise, and keep your blood pressure in check.

Kinda crazy that they say average PC user replace their computers every 3 years, and that SSD drives last 5 years. Im still on a Westmere Xeon with a 1366 motherboard from 2008. I have much older hard drives around also. This is now making me a bit nervous.

Not sure if this is a failure of our education system or species, but it's sad there can't be an open communication platform without a bunch of idiots spouting their bat-shit crazy ideas and an unfortunate number of people swallowing it hook, line and sinker. And while YouTube just burying the stupid sounds good, I don't particularly like the idea of YouTube deciding what is truth and factual. If it were to work like their copyright system then it'd be ripe for abuse.

Log out of Google, clear your cookies/cache, and go to Youtube. Find one video that you are interest in, don't watch but read the algorithm 'next video' list. Click one of the shocking ones, then click another shocking one. Voila, you are now most likely on a conspiracy video.

Google pushes this shit HARD. It's the core of their business to push this on people, kids, whomever. To say it's the education systems fault is akin to saying lack of education causes gambling addiction. (Yes, it is a factor, but regulation is ultimately what keeps the entire world from looking like a fucking casino floor)

Google/Facebook have completely focused conspiracy and outrage on what generates clicks for them. They will not stop this on there own, count on that.

You shouldn't eat anything in 1 second. Your jaw is meant to break it down first, then swallow.

We need better education.

Also, bananas are delicious. Especially ice cream bananas.
Yes, bananas are good. And they help with depression.

To that end, get properly dosed on potassium, magnesium citrate, and niacin.

It's certainly an interesting logistics challenge for the people in the industry. Who does the union consist of? Programmers? Artists? Actors? Only those who work for the big two, EA/ActiBliz? People who work for smaller publishers?

The answer would be yes.. (aside from actors, who mostly should be SAG)

Wishing them the best, its not going to be easy.
