Sounds like you talking about Filth, he's disabled living in a rural community and BF is his outlet to the world. There are more than a few who play on xbox that don't want/deserve the life they have, so I don't begrudge them their intensity.

multiplayer- you get it when your fellow players(clan/squad/buddy) get it.

50 ton tanks will slide across meters of ground to fall off a ramp , can't crush a car, a fence, or a spawn beacon. Grenades will fail to damage plywood, while a .45 round shatters the same wood.
Yes I love the game, but don't even claim it's life like and has real world rules beyond the most basic.

You want first person for melee on an open battlefield? When they go the VR cube or Full VR helmet and gloves/suit maybe. Otherwise you are just asking to get shanked.

I am pretty sure that was money written off as development costs to counter his residuals from ongoing games sales. Every time I heard from someone who was in that crowd, it seemed that is was George's clubhouse of gamers(vast) and groupies(few), just a decade long party that was a write off.
