Boot Camp was released by Apple this past week. It allows you to dual boot windows on mac hardware (starting with the intel based powerbooks, and then the towers when they are released).
Games have been reported to run fine on the install.
So mac gaming is actually about to be extremely profitable. I used to be like you guys, making fun of everything mac because i was a gamer, but the reality is that OSX is a MUUUUCH better operating system that is extremely stable, not prone to the need for the 3 month wipe and reinstalls that windows needed and of course, just plain gorgous to look at.
Now that I can game on my mac (by simply booting up windows on my Mac when I want to play games) there is no reason for gamers to sidestep the platform. Well, maybe price, as macs do tend to be a little more expensive, but the hardware is of the highest quality.
Anyways, thoughts to consider in these post-bootcamp release days.
