To clarify, this patch is on the test server as of today, and then on the live server Friday 6/22/18. Previously Sanhok was only on the experimental server.

Single-player was dropped for another mode, Blackout. (a.k.a. Battle Royale) DLC sucks yeah, but I'm not so sure there is a 90% savings of money there.

I was so excited to play this game when it first released, but the sheer volume (41?) of DLC just ruined it for me.
Apparently I must be in the minority on this otherwise they wouldn't keep shoveling out the DLCs. I know I don't have to buy them but I feel like I'm playing an out of date game if I don't have them.
I bought them for a bit at first, then finally just uninstalled.

Yes I prefer the WW2 settings, and wasn't sure how well I would like RS2. It has really grown on me though. I'm hoping RO3 will explore the WW2 settings they haven't covered yet. I still play RO2/RS1 on occasion. If they just move RO2/RS1 to the RS2 engine and add a few maps that would be gold.

If I remember correctly, 3dfx bought STB. Starting with the 3dfx Voodoo3 they made their own cards (with STB's factory), and they no longer licensed them out. After that they were purchased by Nvidia. I think the Voodoo5 was current when Nvidia bought them.

If it's Treyarch, I might be interested. I generally liked their games. But yeah it's COD and jumped the shark way back I know.

Paragon was just never a good game. I got in the first beta and got a buddy of mine a code for it. My buddy was so pissed at me for the time he lost from his life for installing and trying that game. It was that bad. It was horribly slow and not fun. I sent feedback to the devs, so I did what I could before I promptly moved on with my life.

Medal of Honor and Call of Duty 1 & 2 were some of the best PC games ever I think. If they can make something as good as CoD2 fun today then I'm all in.

What's the deal with this push to get PC gaming into the living room? Seems like it's been going on for decades, and hasn't worked yet. Who benefits if we all start PC gaming on the couch? Not sure I get it.
