Saying that, I still haven't played the original Watch Dogs and I got that a while back. That about sums up my experience with the Assassin's Creed franchise as well - I have seven of them and I've played only a couple, none for more than an hour or two.
I was the same way about Assassin's Creed until I tried IV Black Flag. I would suggest giving that one a try if you ever work your was back to those titles.

One of the best games ever IMHO. Even if you don't like platformers I believe you might like this one. Devs have supported the game very well.

I don't believe there are any games that currently support DX12 Ultimate, but I could be wrong about that. There is one thing in the driver that could be relevant now. "Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling". It can be enabled in Windows 10 2004 after installing this driver.

BF3 Aftermath was one of my favorites out of the BF series, but has it aged enough for a remaster? I don't remember a huge difference in graphics between BF3 and BF4, and BF4 still looks pretty good especially at 1440p or higher.
The side by side release thing is a really bad choice if it's true. The remaster would be DOA I think.
EDIT: It didn't take long for that video to disappear.

I don't have much confidence left in DICE after 1 and V. Honestly, I can't think of any significant ways to improve on 4 right now.
I will say though I had zero confidence in the Call of Duty franchise, but I really like the soft reboot of Modern Warfare. So maybe DICE can do something similar.

I still hop into this from time to time and it's still fun. Some great alternatives IMO are World War Z and Zombie Army 4 and/or Trilogy. Zombie Army 4 is a bit arcadey (it counts up your score using pinball sounds) but it's fun. If the arcadey stuff is a turn off then Zombie Army Trilogy would be a better choice of the two.

I heard a direct account of it shutting down Corsair software for a liquid cooler, so the fans just spun at minimum speed. The radiator slowly became heat saturated and the system did an automatic shutdown when it flew past the Tj max.
That was all fixed during beta.

300 sounds about right for 1080ti. I cap mine at 160 for gync as my monitor is 165hz, but I know prior to the capping it was well over 200 at 1440p.
EDIT: Did a quick unscientific test. I uncapped the frames and was getting anywhere between 380-475fps @ 1440p with my 1080ti. You should be able to nail 300fps for sure.
