Jordan and Mitch are stand-up guys, I'd believe them even if they didn't give their explanation. And after reading it, I still believe them. Infrastructure upgrades can and often do suck for development (my day job is supporting software infrastructure), it doesn't surprise me they lost a few weeks in the process.

Now if HBS went full radio silence then I'd start to worry. But that would be the case for any company and not just HBS.

I hope that they can pull through. Battletech looked amazing up to now. Best of luck to the Harebrained guys!

Sad news from Harebrained Games: the Battletech beta has beeen pushed back for several reasons. Also, the release date of the final version (not the beta, as I had written before, sorry) has been changed from summer 2017 to summer/late fall, but the mail from Harebrained reads like this date could also easily change.

Sad day... I hope I can trust the reasons they quoted in their mail. I hope that Harebrained is honest. It just feels... somehow fishy. Hope they did not run out of money before release. Got my fingers crossed here, Battletech looked great in the preview videos.

That's because there was no damaging info, it is all fake news! Come on, get over to Breitbart and educate yourself.

Wait, your movement speed usually halves in EVERY FPS game when you ADS, what the hell are you guys on about? I don't know of any FPS game where you can run at full speed while ADSing, by nature it slows movement, and sometimes the mouse sensitivity (although can often be adjusted in settings)

You sort of tried to sell ADS as an alternative FPS mode, which it is not.

But as I said before, no problem. It will sell millions, but it is a game I would like to play in first person perspective, which is unfortunately not possible. I think they can afford me not buying the game. It is a shame though. UBI can pull it off in Farcry games, but somehow not in Wildlands.

Wow, just when I think it can't get worse. Trump randomly accuses Obama bugging Trump Tower? I can't figure out if he is crazy, a genius, or just has ADD -- probably parts of all three.

He thinks that if he bangs his drum loud enough, people will forget about Pence.

Sad fact: he is right...

NOAA is Trump's next victim. He accuses them of making bad weather in parts of the US, while the sun always shines in Mexico. He thinks this is un-american and lacks patriotism, so he will reduce NOAA's funds.

Instead, he will threaten the climate with new nukes. This should show the weather who the boss really is!

Yes, you can.

Thanks, but it looks awkward and he seems to walk as soon as you change to ADS, so it is not really an FPS mode, unfortunately.

Whatever. They will sell millions, they don't need my money. And I got plenty of other games (like FarCry: Primal) on my backlog.

You know when you ADS by default it goes to 1st person right? Seems the best of both worlds to me, the positional precision and situational awareness of 3rd person, and the gunplay of 1st person.

I don't think I'm going to buy this game for other reasons, but the POV I'm a fan of.

Can you move in ADS? Also: did you watch some videos dealing with fighting inside building in 3rd person in Wildlands? Go and do so. It does not work.

FPS for Wildlands or it is no game for me.

Trump: Who knows all our secrets? AMERICA ONLINE FIRST!!!!

So, Donnie, will Pence go to prison for it? No, of course, not, it is alright, and anybody criticizing Pence is on a witch hunt, right? So - Pence is a witch?

Oh, Donnie, just give up. Go back to The Apprentice and try to look smart again.

Dear UBI, here is what I would have loved to read:

On the visual front, the PC version of Ghost Recon Wildlands supports not just third person perspective, but also first person perspective.

THIS would have sold the game to me. But sticking to third person perspective makes me spend my money elsewhere. It's a shame, because it does look interesting.

The gaming performance issues I'm seeing across all reviews are frankly disappointing. It seems like they're still not close enough on IPC. I have an Intel platform already and this isn't enough to make me upgrade, I guess I'll see how optimization comes along over the next few years.

That is how I understood most reviews, too. Ryzen is alright for gaming, but not in the same class with intel cpus. When it comes to content streaming and production, Ryzen is the cpu to buy.

This means that my i5 3570k will have to do for another year. Let us see what 2018 (Zen2 and REALLY new intel cpus) will bring. I am in no hurry.

do you know how to read? fucking get this through your tiny little retard brain

You misunderstood. I care for you because each benchmark is such a bitter pill for you to swallow. Reality is hard for you right now. Take care, bud, hard times for you (especially if people read what you wrote about Ryzen in other threads before its release). Keep pulling through, and I feel you are holding back here. Don't - tell us how you really feel. It might help, you know.

Okay, okay, I'll stop right here. Don't want you to die because of a heart attack.

I understand your reaction. A bad day for you. Truth hurts, and you weren't prepared for so much pain. Everything you said/promised in other threads has now been proven to be "alternative facts". Sad, but it's alright, there will be better days.

And there are already better gaming cpus by "some other company", you know?
