Is it truly Steam blocking regions or the publisher?

Certain publishers ask Steam to region block keys. Steam complies, so the EU is looking at Steam first but is also investigating the involved publishers.

This cross-market parallel trade complaint is a pile of shit. That's for physical goods.

Do you not know what "union" means, as in "European Union"? It's not CROSS-MARKET trading, the EU's goal is to function as a UNIFIED MARKET across member nations.

^^This is the goal of the European UNION: a unified market. The EU states are on the way.

Free trade - when big companies ask for it, they have to understand that it is free for all, or free for nobody. This is at least how it SHOULD be. No freebies for companies and people that already have more than enough money.

Curse you, old age and death! Now only Beamdog is potentially going to make BG3!

*EDIT* Reading up on this, it's not even going to be a RPG apparently, but an "action-adventure" game...

Just be thankful it's not a MOBA.

So, yeah, what did you say about "lube?"

TFTD - UFO: Very positive - overwhelmingly positive at Steam
TFTD - UFO: 4.6 - 4.9 (not 5.0) at GOG
TFTD - UFO: 8.9 - 9.1 at Metacritic

Vastly inferior is this... Ah, okay, this is another America. Yes, grab some lube.

Easily one of the best games out.

It has not been released yet. It is only in early access. I know: this is ridiculous.

By "generally", you mean "in my personal opinion", right? Other old school gamers I know all prefer Terror from the Deep, and it was NOT just more of the same. But to know this, you should have actually really played it.

I was totally blown away by the single player campaign. I never expected it to be this good. Sadly, the player count online is pretty low on PC.

Must have been a short blow. They should do a spin-off single player only game with as much sp content as Doom offered. This is what I am hoping for.

Toshiba article says it is from December 2015...

Please god tell me someone found a time machine that goes back to 2015.

137,000,000 people banned from US. Please god tell me you have the machine working.

They are all terrorists, did you not know? I hear another wall to Canada is already being planned, and there will also be a Great Atlantic Wall.

Trump: "And who is going to pay for this wall? Not you, the US citizens, but those filthy immigrants from Atlantis!"

Sean Spicer: "Uh... uhm... Yeah, right. All true, people! Atlantis exists and is a huge terrorist threat!"

Never gets old, Blue.

Bleh! Was always a big fan of John Hurt. Like him in pretty much everything. Fave roles of his were as the psychotic spy in The Osterman Weekend - that was just a really good flick all around, 1984, and The Hit - must see if you haven't seen it.

Yes, good call, Cutter. Hurt was also hilarious in this movie when he had to play a newscaster. How could I forget about a movie by Peckinpah featuring Hurt? I must be getting REALLY old.

John Hurt - that chestburster scene will always haunt me. Alien is one of the best (sci fi) horror movies ever, and it would have been a lesser movie without Hurt's acting chops. Great actor!

I heard that the singleplayer part is very entertaining, but extremely short. So I am waiting for a low price because SP is all I am interested in. If they should ever decide to produce a Titanfall game offering as much quality SP gameplay as the latest Doom, I will be ready to throw more money at them.

Racism is unfortunately making a "great" comeback! And also unfortunately, history teaches us that it teaches us nothing. I would really like to apply for a Mars mission. One way only.

Well, they better 'vet' well for that one. I can imagine a tyranical cult leader 'licking his his chops' waiting to lead a Mars mission with a payload of sheeples. "In space, no one can hear you protest."

I want to go all alone one this Mars mission. No other fur reduced idiotic apes on this flight or on Mars altogether, please. Thank you.

Whoa. Limit Theory is still a thing?

I was following development for a while, but lost interest when the dev fell off the face of the earth for a long time.

It still looks more feature complete than a certain other kickstarter space game that made tons of $$$...
