How ever will TSMC accomplish this within 29 years?? It's unpossible!

Damn, how did games like TIE Fighter even work without correct towel physics?! But now it gets done RIGHT - it just needs some time. And money, Lot of money. And
In the year of 2021 how hard is it to produce and release a single player space combat game? We even had an actual Xwing vs Tie Fighter game in the form of SW: Squadrons, which I admit was pretty lackluster but it actually happened. It was a thing. When do we get our single player game starring Mark Hammill, Gary Oldman and who knows who the fuck else?

D2:R always aimed to be D2:HD Edition with a few UI QoL updates but no gameplay changes. In large part because most monitors these days aren't 800x600 (or the original 640x480). What SC:R successfully did and WC3:R failed horribly at.
If you want a more "modern" experience there's a lot of other good games out there and D4 is comming at some point in the future.

Well, can't say I'm overly surprised, given it's rocky development so far.
Hopefully it turns out awesome, I had a lot of fun with the first game.

I think I got on Steam with the release of the Orange Box. It's just a service to me, not a way of life. Though recently I have tried to buy from GOG first for the simple fact that I can still install games offline with their installers.

I have to figure Apple's lawyers were already preparing an appeal in case this happened. I'm guessing we'll see another decision on this as soon as an appeal court can schedule a date...

Well, looks like tiny sweeny finally got 1 in the win column.
Not that it makes up for fraud and demagoguery aimed at Steam, nor the catastrophic harm caused to the industry as a whole.
One example is that smaller stores like Itch.io can't compete with a megalomaniac billionare giving away free games.
Who then writes it off as a business expense and lets the tax payers pick up the tab. But don't worry tencent will sweep in and
rescue Itch.io for a 40% share of course, same with developers for anyone keeping up with tencent.
Edit: Is it me, Jivaro? Say it's me, me, me!
ECisMe wrote on Sep 10, 2021, 12:34:Competition is good. It will take Apple out of its comfort zone and will actually be a win for its customers.
This will likely be appealed, so it's not over yet, but still a big blow to Apple. Apple income will drop considerably so the stock is likely going to take a hit. Developers are going to save BILLIONS being able to use in-app payments, and with no more Apple umbrella, some companies will try to compete by lowering prices. The show goes on.

Here's to hoping they don't make the gameplay like Fallen Order...
RPG, real-time with pauses, that would be ideal.
Not holding my breath tho.
