When vendors started requiring you to have the disc in your CDROM drive while you played, they turned the PC into a console anyway. OK, the game is installed, you have eaten 5 GB of my harddrive space. You don't need Disc 1 of the installation media anymore!!
Fuck you guys and your DRM. At least id would actually release a no-CD patch, I remember when it came out for Quake 3 and it wasn't more than a year after the initial release. There should be an industry agreement: Have the No-CD patch ready, when your sales halve, release it. Something has to be done.
Someone said it about Trent Reznor with his new mp3/flac release: People who steal your music aren't your customers anyway. If they aren't your customers, what the HELL are you focusing on them for?
